Dressing up for the Renaissance Ball at the 2002 Romantic Times Booklovers' Convention in Reno was fun! So was selecting, from 12 cover model contestants, the one who epitomized the hero in "My Secret Protector," my June 2003 time travel for Pocket Books. Charlie Meadows filled the bill perfectly!

Nancy Michael (right), owner of Once Upon a Time Bookstore in Florence, S.C., tracked down Pam July 18, during the recepton for booksellers and librarians during the Romance Writers of America's National Conference in New Orleans to tell her she'd finished an advance reading copy of THE ENCHANTMENT -- and loved it!

Pam debuted the promotional artwork for her Highland time travels for Pocket Books during RWA's Readers for Life Literacy Autographing that followed the reception July 18 in New Orleans. Isn't it beautiful!

Pam loved the courtyard at the famous Brennan's restaurant, where she enjoyed breakfast with other authors and Daisy Maryles, Publishers Weekly executive editor, during RWA's National Conference.

While in Scotland, we visited Castle Urquhart, Inverness, overlooking Loch Ness. No, that’s not Nessie, it’s just a shadow on the lake . . . I think!

I was blown away – literally! – by the beauty of the view from the rugged and windswept cliffs of Moher in Ireland.
